I believe my job as an attorney is to be honest and direct with my client and to do my best to help them achieve their goals, whether that be a business or real estate transaction, estate planning, or handling an estate. I think it is important to prepare and plan for the future in a realistic way that recognizes acceptable risks, attempts to prevent future harm, and prepares for what may not be preventable. I listen to each client’s specific goals and concerns and strive to provide practical advice that will help them achieve those goals while also addressing any concerns.
Before becoming an attorney, I worked as a paralegal at The Barnett Firm for ten years. I attended Willamette University College of Law where I focused my studies on business law. I continued to work at The Barnett Firm through law school and after graduating. I believe being a paralegal at this firm for years gave me a foundation of skills that is unique.
When I’m not at the office, I enjoy spending my time with my husband and daughter and our dog.
